Terms of Use

1. What Alasia provides

Alasia provides AI-assisted conversation, reflection, personalization, Moments, memories, patterns, Insights, and optional voice functionality. Features may evolve as the service is updated.

Alasia uses artificial intelligence. AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate for a particular situation. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to rely on information produced by Alasia.

2. Not professional or emergency services

Alasia is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, emergency, or other licensed professional advice or services. Do not rely on Alasia as your sole source for decisions where inaccurate information could cause significant harm.

If you are experiencing an emergency or immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services or qualified professionals rather than relying on Alasia.

3. Subscriptions

Alasia offers monthly auto-renewable subscription plans through Apple's App Store. The currently offered plans and included monthly usage allowances are:

• Alasia Essential: up to 200 AI turns and 50 neural voice turns per subscription period.
• Alasia Plus: up to 600 AI turns and 200 neural voice turns per subscription period.
• Alasia Pro: up to 1,200 AI turns and 400 neural voice turns per subscription period.

The price presented by Apple in the App Store purchase flow is the price applicable to your storefront and transaction. Taxes or other charges may apply as determined by Apple or applicable law.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Apple's subscription-management process. Apple handles billing and payment processing. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple subscription settings.

4. Introductory trial

Where offered and where Apple determines that you are eligible, Alasia may provide a one-time seven-day introductory trial with up to 40 AI turns and 15 neural voice turns during the trial period.

Trial availability and eligibility are determined through Apple's subscription systems. The Apple purchase interface will show the applicable trial terms and the subscription price that applies after the trial. Unless canceled before renewal in accordance with Apple's terms, an eligible trial may convert to the selected paid subscription.

5. Usage allowances

AI and neural voice usage is metered by Alasia's backend. A user submission that produces an Alasia AI response may count as an AI turn. Neural voice use may count as a voice turn according to the service's turn-counting rules.

Usage allowances reset according to the applicable verified subscription or trial period, not according to the calendar month. Unused turns do not roll over unless Alasia expressly states otherwise.

If your neural voice allowance is exhausted while AI turns remain, available text AI functionality may continue until the applicable AI allowance is exhausted.

6. Plan changes, restoration, and billing status

Plan upgrades, downgrades, renewals, billing retry, grace periods, cancellations, refunds, and revocations are subject to Apple's subscription systems and applicable App Store rules. Alasia uses verified subscription information to determine access and applicable usage allowances.

You may use Restore Purchases in Alasia to restore an eligible subscription associated with your Apple account. Restoring a subscription does not create additional usage allowances for the same applicable subscription period.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Alasia or attempt to interfere with its operation, security, usage controls, subscription enforcement, or infrastructure. You may not use Alasia in violation of applicable law or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Alasia's systems or services.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, third-party providers, or comply with legal obligations.

8. Your content

You retain responsibility for the information you choose to provide to Alasia. You should only submit information you have the right to use and process through the service.

Your use of Alasia authorizes the processing of submitted information as necessary to provide the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Alasia intellectual property

Alasia, including its software, visual design, branding, interface, and original service materials, is owned by or licensed to Jennifer L. Warren and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Alasia to you.

10. Availability and changes

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or develop Alasia. Internet access, Apple services, Cloudflare infrastructure, OpenAI services, and other third-party systems may affect availability.

We do not guarantee that Alasia will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alasia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your particular circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jennifer L. Warren will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Alasia. Any limitations in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Alasia at any time. Deleting the app does not by itself cancel an active App Store subscription; subscription cancellation must be completed through Apple's applicable subscription-management process.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material violation of these Terms.

14. Privacy

Your use of Alasia is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes how information is processed when you use the service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Alasia evolves or as legal, operational, or service requirements change. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate.
